Spanish veteran Pedro has been one of Lazio’s main protagonists this season under coach Maurizio Sarri.
As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 34-year-old Spaniard has shone in the first half of this season, scoring six goals in 18 Serie A appearances so far this campaign, as well as providing three assists.

This is the same number of goals scored as the first half of the 2018/19 season with Sarri’s Chelsea and Pedro finished that campaign with eight goals in total.

Pedro’s most prolific half-season came with Barcelona in the 2013/14 season, when the Lazio winger netted 11 goals in the first 19 games of that La Liga campaign. He finished that season with 15 league goals.
The 2010 World Cup winner is one of Sarri’s most important players and with star striker Ciro Immobile absent from today’s match against Venezia, he has the chance to drive the team home with all three points.
