Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has refuted the rumours that he is currently unhappy playing under coach Maurizio Sarri.
As seen in a post on Milinkovic-Savic’s Instagram page yesterday, the 26-year-old Serbian midfielder had little interest in the rumours or reports suggesting that he had a falling out with the 62-year-old Italian coach, amidst links to Premier League side Manchester United.
Milinkovic-Savic posted some photos from Lazio’s 3-1 win over Venezia, accompanied by the caption: ‘Seen a lot of talk about the Sergeant, but I don’t give a damn. What matters is that Lazio wins.’
The 26-year-old Milinkovic-Savic, who is contracted to Lazio until 2024, has made 25 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1780 minutes. In that time, he has scored five goals and provided six assists.
