Lazio owned wing back Mohamed Fares could be sold to Simone Inzaghi’s Inter next month.
As reported by Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 25-year-old Algerian wing back joined Genoa on a loan deal with a buy option attached on transfer deadline day, but he has done little to convince the Rossoblu of his qualities this season.

As such, Fares seems likely to return to Lazio next month, but only in passing; Torino and Sassuolo are keen on the Algerian wing back, but he could also be reunited with Inzaghi at Inter.

The former SPAL man has always been a favourite of the 45-year-old Italian coach, and the Nerazzurri are looking for a player who can rotate with Ivan Perisic, meaning Fares would find space in the squad.
The deal wouldn’t be easy, however, especially considering that three different clubs would need to be satisfied in order to pull it off.
