Lazio star Ciro Immobile will undergo another COVID test today in the hopes of finally returning a negative result.
As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 31-year-old Italian striker and his family have not suffered any serious symptoms but are still stuck in isolation at home.
Immobile will take another molecular COVID test today and if a negative result is returned then he’ll be able to return to Formello on 30th December for Lazio’s first training session after the Christmas break.
The 31-year-old Italian striker has been training at home under the guidance of coach Maurizio Sarri’s staff and he’s hoping to return to Formello as soon as possible.
Immobile, who is contracted to Lazio until 2026, has made 21 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1709 minutes. In that time, he has scored 16 goals and provided two assists.
