Lazio are working on finding the right formula to sign Paris Saint-Germain full back Layvin Kurzawa.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, PSG need to lighten their wage bill next month following a busy summer transfer window and so are looking to sell or re-home players who are no longer considered important to Mauricio Pochettino’s project.

Kurzawa’s €5 million net per season salary is a major obstacle but Lazio’s strong relationship with his agent Kia Joorabchian, who also represents Lucas Leiva and Felipe Anderson, could help facilitate a deal.

The Biancocelesti are looking to sign Kurzawa on a loan deal with a buy option attached and the Growth Decree would be fundamental in making the Frenchman’s wages less of a burden.

The 29-year-old Kurzawa, who is contracted to PSG until 2024, has only played nine minutes across all competitions so far this season, in a Trophée des Champions match against Lille.
