AC Milan & Inter Tempted by Idea of Signing Lazio’s Luiz Felipe on Free Transfer

AC Milan and Inter are tempted by the idea of signing Lazio defender Luiz Felipe on a free transfer.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti have offered the 24-year-old Brazilian defender a new contract worth just under €2 million net per season, but the player wants more.

Luiz Felipe is asking for a salary of €2.5 million net and with his expiry date approaching, he could even look to push for €3 million net per season plus add-ons.

Next month the Brazilian defender will be able to sign a pre-contract with another club and both AC Milan and Inter are tempted by the idea of securing the player on a free transfer.

La Liga sides Barcelona and Real Betis are also interested in signing the 24-year-old Luiz Felipe on a free transfer, so Lazio will have to work fast if they want to tie him down to a new deal.
