Paris Saint-Germain have agreed to pay part of Lazio target Layvin Kurzawa’s wages, making a deal significantly more accessible.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the links between the Biancocelesti and the 29-year-old French left back have been heating up in recent days and now the Ligue 1 side have taken steps to further facilitate a deal.

PSG are willing to send Kurzawa to Lazio on a loan deal with a buy option attached and now they’ve agreed to pay part of his wages for the first year of the loan. The Frenchman earns more than €4 million net per season, so their contribution would be significant.

Lazio still need to re-home some redundant players, like Denis Vavro and Vedat Muriqi, but a deal now seems genuinely possible ahead of next month’s transfer window.

The Biancocelesti will be looking to close out the deal soon, allowing them to focus on finding a new backup striker.
