Lazio president Claudio Lotito has provided an update on the upcoming January transfer window.

Speaking to Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, he first touched on how the club can work in next month’s market.

Simple, we have to sell first and then we can buy.

The Lazio president then discussed the cheap ticket prices for the team’s first game of 2022 against Empoli.

I’ve given a Christmas present to all Lazio fans.

Tickets at 50% cost despite the fact that I had already sensed it all for some time.

The Truth About Lazio’s January Market: No Zaza & Kalinic, Sarri Not Keen on Kurzawa

Lazio have been linked to a variety of players ahead of next month’s transfer window but a report from transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla last night highlighted that the majority of these deals seem unlikely to come off.

It’s unlikely that Lazio will look to sign Hellas Verona’s Nikola Kalinic and Kevin Lasagna or Torino’s Simone Zaza, and coach Maurizio Sarri is not the person pushing to sign Paris Saint-Germain left back Layvin Kurzawa.

The Biancocelesti will also need to find new homes for various redundant players like Denis Vavro, Vedat Muriqi, Jony, Jordan Lukaku and more.
