Lazio Forward Muriqi Likely to Move to either England or Turkey Next Month

Lazio are still looking for a new home for Vedat Muriqi, with the most likely options being in Turkey and England.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 27-year-old Kosovan forward has not convinced coach Maurizio Sarri this season and so the club are ready to send him away in order to make space for a new backup striker.

Turkish television entrepreneur Acun Ilicali is incredibly close to purchasing the club and one of his first additions could be the Kosovan forward, who scored 17 goals in 36 matches for Fenerbahce.

The 27-year-old Muriqi, who is contracted to Lazio until 2025, has made 14 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 313 minutes. In that time, he has provided one assist, in the 1-1 draw with Torino back in September.
