Lazio Winger Pedro Donated Toys to Hospitalised Children This Christmas

Lazio winger Pedro’s foundation in Tenerife gifted toys to hospitalised children over the Christmas period.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 34-year-old Spanish winger has been the owner of a foundation opened in 2014 that donates toys and gifts to unwell children, something that was repeated this Christmas.

This Christmas, Pedro’s foundation donated a lot of toys to children who are currently hospitalised at the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria hospital, located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The gift was accompanied by a video message for everyone, where the Lazio winger said: “We must continue to take care of ourselves to stop this virus, but we must not stop the actions of solidarity.”

The 34-year-old Pedro, who is contracted to Lazio until 2023, has made 26 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1868 minutes. In that time, he has scored eight goals and provided four assists, being one of the stars of the Biancocelesti’s season so far.
