Lazio owned full back Mohamed Fares is only a step away from joining Torino on loan.
As reported by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà on Twitter yesterday, the 25-year-old Algerian full back has failed to convince during his time on loan with Genoa this campaign and he seems destined to leave the Ligurian club this month.
Torino are incredibly keen to sign Fares and an agreement is reportedly close to being reached. Updates are expected over the coming days.
The 25-year-old Fares, who joined Genoa on transfer deadline day on a loan deal with a buy option attached, has made eight Serie A appearances so far this season, for a total of 496 minutes.

In that time, the Lazio owned full back has scored two goals and provided one assist, missing 10 games recently due to a muscle injury.
