Lazio are interested in a move for Empoli forward Nedim Bajrami ahead of next summer’s transfer window.
As reported by Italian transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio last night, the Biancocelesti are big fans of the 22-year-old Albanian trequartista, who scored in yesterday’s electric 3-3 draw. The player, however, is putting all offers on hold for now.
Sassuolo and Cagliari have both inquired about Bajrami in recent days but the 22-year-old is not willing to leave Empoli in this month’s transfer window.
Lazio are therefore hoping to secure the Albanian trequartista’s signature in next summer’s transfer window instead.
The 22-year-old Bajrami, who has an estimated market value of around €10 million, has made 20 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1139 minutes. In that time, he has scored seven goals and provided four assists.
Updates are not expected regarding this deal for a while now, with more pressing matters to focus on this month, like re-homing Vedat Muriqi.
