Inter’s Probable Starting Lineup vs Lazio: Inzaghi Cannot Rely on Calhanoglu

By Apollo Heyes -

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will be unable to rely on Hakan Calhanoglu for tomorrow’s match against Lazio.

The Turkish playmaker has been given a one-match suspension by the sporting judge after picking up his fifth yellow card of this Serie A season against Torino before Christmas. He was initially supposed to miss Thursday’s match against Bologna, but that was postponed, so now he’ll miss the Lazio match instead.

Backup goalkeeper Alex Cordaz and Martín Satriano are both out after testing positive for COVID.

Inzaghi could also decide to deploy either Edin Dzeko or Joaquin Correa in place of Alexis Sanchez, and Roberto Gagliardini has could start over Vidal in the middle. It’s also a 50-50 battle between Dumfries and Matteo Darmian for a starting spot.
