Former Lazio midfielder Marco Parolo praised coach Simone Inzaghi ahead of tomorrow’s match against Inter.
Speaking in an interview with Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the DAZN pundit discussed the Inter coach’s merits and mentality.
He is very good on an empathetic level, he immediately understands what he can give the players in the human relationship. He came from an important foundation, Conte’s 3-5-2 was tried and tested, Antonio turned a strong team into a winner.
Inzaghi has added lightness, light-heartedness and freedom of play. It’s not just a question of the pitch, but a 360° thought, more dialogue, maybe discounts on work if everything is done in the right way.
Simone has put new concepts into a machine that was going strong, the squad has eased the tension but knows the way to victory. The staff makes everyone train to the maximum, finding the way to stimulate the players and make them have fun.
Inzaghi has had an incredible start to his life with Inter; the Nerazzurri currently sit top of the Serie A table heading into the new year, sitting on 46 points, one ahead of intercity rivals AC Milan, although they have a game in hand.
Inzaghi has also done well in the Champions League, guiding the team to the Round of 16. They will face Liverpool over two legs, an incredibly tough draw for the Nerazzurri. Therefore it’ll be a tough couple of months for the Italian coach.
