AC Milan & Sevilla Following Luis Alberto Ahead of Possible Lazio Departure in Summer

AC Milan and Sevilla are closely following Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto ahead of the summer transfer window.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the relationship between the Spanish midfielder and Maurizio Sarri is poor, with the Biancocelesti coach believing that the team is too unbalanced on the pitch when the Spaniard is present.

Luis Alberto will not leave Lazio in this month’s transfer window, but it seems likely now that the club will look to sell him in the summer. President Claudio Lotito values the player at around €40 million.

Sevilla and AC Milan have already expressed interest in Luis Alberto and so updates are expected over the coming months.

The 29-year-old Luis Alberto, who is contracted to Lazio until 2025, has made 25 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1508 minutes. In that time, he has scored three goals and provided six assists.
