Unneeded Lazio Forward Muriqi’s Wife Expresses Unhappiness in Rome

Lazio forward Vedat Muriqi’s wife Edibe has expressed her discontent regarding their time in the Italian capital ahead of a possible move away.

The 27-year-old Kosovan forward took part on a comedy show with his family whilst on holiday in Turkey recently, where he discussed his time off.

Cold Relationship Between Lazio President Lotito & Sporting Director Tare

Speaking on the show on Kanal D (via LazioNews24) recently, Muriqi said:

We are here for the holidays. We are very happy to be in this beautiful city. We as a family have loved it and we love it. We try to come here every time, even if there are only one or two days off.

His wife Edibe noted her unhappiness in Rome, saying that:

I was never satisfied in Rome. Of course, I’d like to go back to Istanbul.

Whose mind would I like to read? Ali Koç’s, the Fenerbahce president.

Lazio Coach Sarri Incredibly Keen to Sign Expiring Inter Midfielder Vecino

The 27-year-old Muriqi, who is contracted to Lazio until 2025, seems destined to leave the Biancocelesti soon, having fully failed to convince coach Maurizio Sarri.

The Kosovan forward has made 48 appearances for the Roman club since his arrival in September 2020, but he has only scored two goals and provided two assists in that time, failing to replicate the form that he showed with Fenerbahce.

Lazio paid around €20 million for Muriqi only 18-months ago, and his signing is one of the biggest faults of sporting director Igli Tare in recent years.
