Lazio Preparing Offer for Chelsea’s Kepa Amidst Competition From Barcelona

Lazio are preparing to make an offer for Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga over the next couple of weeks.

As reported by Spanish newspaper Don Balon (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the Biancocelesti are moving quickly to try and secure the Spaniard’s signature amidst competition from Barcelona, who are also keen to sign the Blues shot stopper.

The Catalan side will have to deal with the possible departures of Neto and Marc-André Ter Stegen in the summer and so they’ve added Kepa to their list of potential replacements, which is why Lazio are looking to move fast.

Chelsea invested €80 million into the Spanish goalkeeper three and a half years ago but now his market value has dropped and he could be signed for around €15 million.

The Biancocelesti would look to sign Kepa on a loan deal with a buy option attached, and coach Maurizio Sarri is incredibly keen to secure the player.
