Hellas Verona defender Nicolò Casale is Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri’s top target for this month’s transfer window.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 63-year-old Italian coach is a huge fan of the 23-year-old Gialloblu defender, who is able to play as both a centre back and left back.

Hellas Verona want around €10 million for the 23-year-old Italian defender and they have recently declined offers of around €7-8 million from AC Milan and Napoli, forcing the Biancocelesti to move fast if they want to secure their man.

The 23-year-old Casale, who is contracted to the Gialloblu until 2026, has made 21 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1357 minutes. In that time, he has provided one assist and helped the side keep three clean sheets.
