Lazio could look to sign Benevento forward Gianluca Lapadula on a low-cost deal this month.
As reported by Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 31-year-old Peruvian forward is set to leave the Serie B club in the January transfer window and the Biancocelesti could make a push to sign the player, who is valued at around €4 million.

Lazio’s top target to replace Vedat Muriqi is Mainz forward Jonathan Burkardt, but this would be a significantly more expensive deal and so Lapadula could be brought in as a short-term option.
CSKA Moscow in Pole Position in Race to Sign Unneeded Lazio Forward Muriqi
The 31-year-old Lapadula, who is contracted to Benevento until June 2023, has made 16 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1043 minutes. In that time, he has scored 10 goals and provided four assists.
CSKA Moscow have recently opened talks with Lazio for Muriqi and so updates could appear over the coming days, with only 16 days left in the transfer window.
