Lazio sporting director Igli Tare confirmed the offer, telling Russian journalist Mikhail Mozharovsky: “We have received an offer from Russia, I can’t say any more.” CSKA Moscow offered Lazio €2.5 million for a six-month loan with a buy option attached set at €8 million.

The Biancocelesti are now evaluating the offer, but they cannot take too long as the departure of Muriqi is what would allow them to sign a new backup striker. Only 16 days remain in the transfer window, so updates are expected over the coming days.
The 27-year-old Muriqi has made 14 appearances across all competitions this season, for a total of 313 minutes. In that time, he has provided one assist.
