Pedro is at risk of missing Lazio’s upcoming Serie A clash against Atalanta due to a calf injury.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 34-year-old Spaniard suffered a right calf injury in the first half of the Biancocelesti’s 3-0 win over Salernitana on Saturday, forcing coach Maurizio Sarri to make a change after only 40 minutes.

The former Chelsea and Barcelona man will definitely miss tomorrow’s Coppa Italia match against Udinese, and he also risks missing the next league game against Atalanta on Saturday.

Pedro will sit down with Sarri after the results of the medical tests have been revealed to decide whether to risk playing in the Atalanta game or instead to sit out in order to recover comfortably.
