Lazio defender Denis Vavro could join Vedat Muriqi in making the move to CSKA Moscow this month.
As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, sporting director Igli Tare has agreed a deal with the Russian side regarding Muriqi’s transfer, with the player moving on a €2.5 million loan with an €8 million buy option attached, which could become an obligation to buy under certain conditions.

Muriqi still has doubts about the move because he would prefer a return to Fenerbahce, but the Turkish club are not in a good position financially.

Interestingly, redundant defender Vavro could also be included in this deal, even if Spanish sides Huesca and Rayo Vallecano are interested in him.
Lazio need to fully finalise the deal soon if they want to unblock their liquidity index in time to complete some moves on the transfer market, and so updates are expected later this week.
