Lazio’s Probable Starting Lineup vs Udinese: Sarri Makes Minimal Rotations

Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri will make minimal changes to the squad for this evening’s Coppa Italia match against Udinese.

As reported by Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, the 63-year-old Italian coach is expected to field more or less the same starting lineup as the one that beat Salernitana 3-0 on Saturday.

Below is Lazio’s probable starting lineup for their Coppa Italia clash against Udinese:

  • Lazio (4-3-3): Pepe Reina; Manuel Lazzari, Luiz Felipe, Patric, Elseid Hysaj; Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Danilo Cataldi, Luis Alberto; Felipe Anderson, Ciro Immobile, Mattia Zaccagni.

Will Maurizio Sarri Leave Lazio if Claudio Lotito Comes up Short?

The major exception to this is Pedro, who suffered an injury only 40 minutes in the match against Salernitana a few days ago. He is also at risk of missing Lazio’s next league match against Atalanta on the weekend.

Felipe Anderson will start in the Spaniard’s place, with Zaccagni and Immobile completing the attack. Lazzari will return in defence and Reina will start once again.

The winner of this evening’s match will face AC Milan in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia.
