Saint-Etienne have expressed interest in Lazio forward Vedat Muriqi and they could look to make a move this month.

As reported by French media outlet Envertetcontretous yesterday, Saint-Etienne coach Pascal Dupraz has specifically highlighted the Kosovan forward to the club’s management as an interesting idea to consider.

Saint-Etienne have asked for information about Muriqi and an offer could arrive later this week. Lazio want a loan deal with an option or obligation to buy clause attached.

Saint-Etienne will have to move fast if they want to sign the Kosovan forward this month, with only 12 days left in the transfer window.

The 27-year-old Muriqi, who is contracted to Lazio until 2025, has made 15 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 384 minutes. In that time, he has provided only one assist.
