Empoli goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is at the top of Lazio’s list as they search for a new number one.
As reported by Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti’s scouting team are currently hard at work searching for the perfect goalkeeper for coach Maurizio Sarri’s system.
The number one target so far is the 25-year-old Vicario. The Italian goalkeeper, who is on loan from Cagliari, can be signed permanently by Empoli for €10 million, and they could then sell him onwards.
Lazio would be willing to pay around €15 million for Vicario, believing him to be the right choice for Sarri’s system. Updates are expected after the January transfer window ends, with the Roman club having a few months to find the perfect player.
