Atalanta have a number of key absences for their upcoming Serie A clash against Lazio.
As reported by Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, coach Gian Piero Gasperini is dealing with a number of injuries to his players, with key players like Duvan Zapata and Robin Gosens out with injuries.
Atalanta (3-4-2-1): Juan Musso; Berat Djimsiti, Merih Demiral, Jose Palomino; Marten De Roon, Remo Freuler, Teun Koopmeiners, Giuseppe Pezzella; Mario Pasalic, Matteo Pessina; Luis Muriel.
Zapata is out with muscle problems and Gosens is dealing with a hamstring injury. Josip Ilicic, Ruslan Malinovskyi, Rafael Toloi, Joakim Maehle and Hans Hateboer are also on the sidelines.
It has been a strong start of the year for Atalanta, with a 6-2 win over Udinese and a comfortable 2-0 Coppa Italia win over Venezia opening their 2022. A 0-0 draw with Inter last weekend also showed their ability to fight on level footing with Italy’s best.
