Lazio duo Toma Basic and André Anderson visited the Paideia clinic today to undergo some medical and fitness tests.
As reported by Italian media outlet LazioNews24 earlier today, the pair have both missed the last few training sessions in Formello this week, as well as the recent matches against Salernitana in the league and Udinese in the Coppa Italia.
Both Basic and André Anderson underwent some medical and fitness tests today, and the results were positive; both players are now expected to be fit enough to take part in Lazio’s match against Atalanta tomorrow, good news for coach Maurizio Sarri, who is dealing with a number of absences.
The 25-year-old Basic, who is contracted to Lazio until 2026, has made 20 appearances across all competitions so far this season for the Biancocelesti, for a total of 993 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and provided two assists, fitting in nicely in the 63-year-old Italian coach’s system.
