Roma are seriously considering making a move for expiring Lazio defender Luiz Felipe.

As reported by Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com last night, the 24-year-old Brazilian defender’s contract is set to expire with the Biancocelesti at the end of this season and a contract renewal has not been renewed yet, with the club offering less than his requests.

Air of Tension Ahead of Lazio vs Atalanta, a Recent Bitter Rivalry

Roma would be willing to offer Luiz Felipe his requested €2.5 million net per season contract in the summer, after his contract expires with intercity rivals Lazio. Last summer Pedro crossed the River Tiber, the first time a direct move between the clubs occurred since 1981, and now it could happen again.

Yet Another Meeting Scheduled Between Lazio & Luiz Felipe’s Agent

Luiz Felipe would be willing to join the Giallorossi, as it would allow him to stay in the Italian capital, where his family are very happy. The player, who holds an Italian passport, has often been compared to Stefan de Vrij, another player being considered by Roma currently.
