Lazio legend Giorgio Chinaglia has been remembered by the club on what would have been his 75th birthday.

As seen in a post on Lazio’s Twitter today, the Italian striker was born in Tuscany on 24th January 1947 and he spent the majority of his childhood in Wales, only returning to his native country at the age of 19.

He joined the Biancocelesti in 1969 and made 248 appearances for the club in his seven years of service, scoring 123 goals and helping the club win the 1973/74 Scudetto.
