Lazio have agreed a deal with Hellas Verona for defender Nicolo Casale.
As reported by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla earlier today, the Biancocelesti have agreed to sign the 23-year-old Italian defender on a loan deal with a €9-10 million obligation to buy clause attached, but a move cannot be finalised yet.

Lazio first need to sell another player before they can finalise the Casale deal. The departure of Denis Vavro to FC Copenhagen on loan was not enough to unblock the liquidity index, so another sale is needed.
The main candidate for this is Kosovan forward Vedat Muriqi, who has failed to convince coach Maurizio Sarri this season.

The Biancocelesti have been working hard all month to try and find a buyer for the player, and they hope to close out his departure before the transfer window closes next week.
The 23-year-old Casale has made 22 Serie A appearances this season, for a total of 1515 minutes. In that time, he has provided one assist and impressed defensively.
