Lazio are interested in making a last-minute move for Atalanta forward Aleksej Miranchuk.
As reported by Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.com earlier today, the Biancocelesti are looking to bring in a new forward following the imminent departure of Vedat Muriqi to Mallorca, and they’ve set their sights on the 26-year-old Russian.

Lazio are keen to sign Miranchuk but a deal is likely to be fairly complicated. Only a few days ago, Atalanta rejected Genoa‘s loan offer with a buy option attached, so sporting director Igli Tare would have to work hard to find the right formula to convince La Dea.
Things will not progress until Muriqi‘s move to Mallorca is fully finalised, but Miranchuk could make his way to Rome in the final days of this month’s transfer window.
The 26-year-old Miranchuk, who is contracted to Atalanta until 2024, has made 16 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 586 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and provided two assists.
