Still No Agreement With Atalanta as Lazio Push for Miranchuk

Lazio are pushing hard to sign Atalanta forward Aleksej Miranchuk and they may only be a step away.

As reported by Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio earlier today, La Dea are about to sign Parma forward Valentin Mihaila on a loan deal with an obligation to buy clause attached, set at around €12-13 million.

The Romanian forward is being brought in as a replacement for Miranchuk, meaning that Lazio could look to finalise a deal with Atalanta for the Russian striker. The two parties are currently in talks, but things must move fast.

The Roman club are desperate to sign a new backup forward in this month’s transfer window and things have opened up following Vedat Muriqi’s imminent move to La Liga side Mallorca. President Claudio Lotito has personally confirmed that the club plan to make some moves in this window.
