Despite just hours remaining in the Winter Transfer Window, Lazio have expressed interest in Pisa striker Lorenzo Lucca.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, while Sassuolo have been intense negotiations for the 21-year-old Lucca, they have not been able to agree on a fee and formula. As a result, Lazio made a late attempt to try and snatch the player; however, negotiations quickly came to an end as the Biancocelesti were not able to agree on a valuation of the player.

The talented Italian attacker has attracted interest from several clubs this year due to his strong performances in Serie B. Despite being valued at around €7 million, Pisa demanded a fee of at least €12 million to see their star player leave this January. They would have accepted a loan with an obligation to buy in the summer; however, Lazio could not guarantee that they would be able to pay this, so negotiations quickly came to a conclusion.

So far this season, the player has scored six goals and provided two assists in 18 matches. He currently has a contract until 30.06.2026.
