New Lazio Signing Jovane to Undergo Medicals Tomorrow After Move From Sporting

New Lazio signing Jovane Cabral will undergo his medical tests tomorrow after signing from Sporting.

As reported by Italian media outlet LazioNews24 earlier today, the 23-year-old Cape Verdean winger joined the Biancocelesti in the final minutes of the January transfer market yesterday, being an important reinforcement for coach Maurizio Sarri.

Jovane is ready to join the Lazio environment after his contract was officially deposited to Lega Serie A yesterday and he’s expected to undergo the usual medical tests at the Paideia clinic in Rome tomorrow.

Assuming everything goes well, he could make his debut in the Biancocelesti’s upcoming Serie A clash against Fiorentina on the weekend.

The 23-year-old Jovane, who joined Lazio on a loan deal with a buy option attached, has made 17 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 707 minutes. In that time, he has scored three goals and provided one assist, missing at least seven league games due to injury.
