Lazio midfielder Toma Basic was robbed at gunpoint in the Parioli area of Rome yesterday.
As reported by Italian news outlet ANSA (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) yesterday, the 25-year-old Croatian midfielder was approached at around 13.30 local time in the Parioli neighbourhood of Rome, just north of Villa Borghese, by thieves and he was robbed of his gold Rolex at gunpoint.

The crime is currently being investigated by the police and Basic is obviously shaken up by the incident, which was occurred only six months after his arrival at Lazio. The hope is that his watch will be recovered soon.
