Things sadly collapsed in the dying minutes of the match; in the 88th minute, Nina Stapelfeldt found a late winner, making it 2-1 Milan. The win was secured five minutes later, when Sara Thrige Andersen found the back of the net, making it 3-1.

Despite the loss, it was another good performance for Massimiliano Catini’s team, and now they’ll have to regroup ahead of their next match against Fiorentina Women.
