Lazio are not set to renew Patric’s contract after blocking his move to Valencia last month.
As reported by Italian newspaper La Repubblica (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 28-year-old Spaniard’s current contract expires with the club at the end of this season and he was very close to making a move to Valencia in last month’s transfer window.

However, the talks between Lazio and Patric regarding a contract renewal have stopped, and now it seems likely that the 28-year-old will return to his native Spain after the end of this season.
Patric, who joined Lazio in 2015 from Barcelona, has made 16 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1048 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and provided one assist, playing as both a centre back and right back.
