Referee Marco Piccinini will lead the officiating team in Lazio’s Serie A clash against Bologna tomorrow.
As noted by Lazio yesterday, the 38-year-old Forli-born referee will oversee the fourth Biancocelesti match of his career tomorrow afternoon at the Stadio Olimpico, his third time officiating a game involving the Roman club this season following two matches in the first half of the campaign.
- Referee: Marco Piccinini
- Assistant Referees: Matteo Bottegoni – Andrea Zingarelli
- Fourth Official: Manuel Volpi
- VAR: Daniele Orsato
- Assistant VAR: Matteo Passeri
In the three Lazio matches that Piccinini has overseen before in his career, he has given the Roman club seven yellow cards and one second yellow card. He has never given the team a penalty nor a straight red card.
The Biancocelesti matches that he’s officiated were a 2-1 win over Cagliari in the 2019/20 season, the 4-1 loss to Hellas Verona earlier this campaign and the 4-4 draw with Udinese in the run-up to Christmas.
