Luis Alberto Suspended for Lazio’s Upcoming Serie A Match vs Udinese

Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto will miss the upcoming match against Udinese due to a yellow-card suspension.

As highlighted by Italian media outlet LazioNews24 earlier today, the 29-year-old Spanish midfielder picked up his 5th yellow card of this Serie A season in the first half of today’s match against Bologna.

Due to it being his 5th league booking, Luis Alberto will be forced to miss Lazio’s upcoming match against Udinese, scheduled for next weekend.

The Spanish midfielder has had an inconsistent season under coach Maurizio Sarri this season, but he has recently begun to fully convince the Italian coach.

Luis Alberto, who is contracted to Lazio until 2025, has made 31 appearances across all competitions this season. In that time, he’s scored three goals and provided six assists.

The player is endlessly linked with a move away from Rome and it’s likely that a number of top clubs will be linked with the Spaniard in the run up to the summer transfer window.
