Chelsea’s Kepa, Tottenham’s Gollini & More: Five Goalkeepers Lazio Are Following

Lazio are planning to sign a new starting goalkeeper in the summer and they currently have five names on their wish list.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, Thomas Strakosha will not renew his contract with the Biancocelesti, meaning that he’ll leave the club on a free transfer in the summer.

The top player on Lazio’s wish list is Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga. Coach Maurizio Sarri knows the Spaniard well from their time together in West London and he’s keen to work with the player again. The other top option is Tottenham’s Pierluigi Gollini, who is currently on loan from Atalanta.

The alternatives to these two are Sassuolo’s Andrea Consigli and Empoli’s Guglielmo Vicario, with the latter having a particularly strong season this campaign.

The final option that Lazio are considering is Atalanta youngster Marco Carnesecchi, who is currently impressing in Serie B with Cremonese.

Updates are expected over the coming months, with the Biancocelesti ready to invest in a new number one.

  1. Funnily enough Kepa and Sarri had that famous “misunderstanding” when he tried to sub him for the penalty shootout 🙂

  2. What the fuck is wrong with LoTare? Thomas has been of a great service and his recent forms showed he’s more than qualified to become our number 1. Look at him, just look at him! Four consecutive cleansheets with him at the goal, and then we conceded FOUR goals against Milan when he’s not playing. Stop this nonsense, LoTare, and invest somewhere else!
