Details of Lazio’s Contract Offer to Expiring Milan Defender Alessio Romagnoli Revealed

Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli will make a decision on his future soon following Lazio’s contract offer.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti have been in close talks with the Italian defender’s agent Mino Raiola recently and they have offered the player a contract worth €3 million net per season plus add-ons.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito and Igli Tare did correctly warn Milan of their talks for Romagnoli, rather than secretly making a move. The relationship between the two clubs is excellent and the gesture was another sign of that.

Romagnoli will make a decision soon; the Rossoneri offered him a similar amount, around €2.8 million plus add-ons, but the Italian defender would prefer Lazio for two reasons. The first reason is that he would be able to play as a regular starter in Rome; the second reason is that he has been a fan of the Biancocelesti since he was a kid.

  1. Hope he comes to Lazio. Him and Acerbi together would be solid but also they need to renew Luiz Felipe’s contract!

  2. FFS sign the player, give him 5 millions per season, we will regret if we lose him, get some full backs and 9, there are many on free transfer
