Lazio star Ciro Immobile is trying his hardest to be fit in time for the upcoming match against Porto.
As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 32-year-old Italian striker has been sidelined since last Wednesday due to a fever and he’s been training at home since the weekend, waiting to return to Formello.

Immobile is set to return to Lazio’s training centre tomorrow and he’s hoping to be fit enough to take part in the second leg of the Europa League play-offs against Porto.
Lazio need a win against the Portuguese side on Thursday if they want to progress in the competition, considering that they lost 2-1 in Portugal last week.

Immobile is desperate to be involved and it remains to be seen whether he’ll be able to start or if he’ll come on as the match progresses.
