Juventus are planning to make a significant investment in their midfield in the upcoming summer transfer window and Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is one of their targets.
As reported by Italian newspaper Tuttosport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Bianconeri are looking for a player who can supply creative and dangerous balls to €80 million man Dusan Vlahovic, which would hopefully solve the club’s attacking woes.
Allegri: ‘Vlahovic brings characteristics Juventus didn’t have’
Juventus have their eyes on three players in particular. The first of these is Manchester United‘s Paul Pogba, who would have to at least halve his salary if he wanted to join the club, Roma‘s Nicolo Zaniolo and Lazio star Milinkovic-Savic.
The Biancocelesti midfielder and the new Bianconeri striker are teammates on the Serbian national team and it is likely that they would develop good chemistry quickly; however, it would be difficult deal to pull off, with Lazio president Claudio Lotito being a notoriously shrewd negotiator.
Milinkovic-Savic has scored eight goals and provided eight assists in 25 Serie A appearances this campaign.
