Lazio have requested information about Sevilla forward Papu Gomez ahead of a possible summer move.
As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera (via LazioNews24) earlier today, Biancocelesti sporting director Igli Tare has asked agent Giuseppe Riso for information about the 34-year-old Argentinian forward.

Lazio are already in talks with Riso for on-loan Tottenham forward Pierluigi Gollini and during those talks Tare brought up Papu Gomez as well, with the Biancocelesti also keen to pick up a new forward.

The Argentinian forward would gladly return to Italy with Sevilla ready to sell him at a bargain price. Maurizio Sarri considers him the perfect winger for his attacking system and president Claudio Lotito is unconvinced, largely due to the player’s age.
The 34-year-old Papu Gomez has made 32 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2072 minutes. In that time, he’s scored five goals and provided three assists, only missing a handful of games all campaign.
