Manuel Lazzari’s recovery is going well and he hopes to return to action in less than two weeks now.

Whilst the Italian full back’s initial goal was to be fit in time for the derby against Roma on 20th March, there’s now a chance that the former SPAL man could return in time for the game against Venezia on 14th March.

Lazzari has made 29 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1386 minutes. In that time, he’s scored two goals and provided one assist, slowly growing into a suitable player under Maurizio Sarri.
