Immobile’s Agent Moggi: “He’ll Stay With Lazio Until the End of His Career”

Ciro Immobile’s agent has confirmed that the Italian star will end his career with Lazio one day.

Speaking in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Radio Marte (via Gianluca Di Marzio) yesterday, Alessandro Moggi discussed his client and how he’ll close out his career in the Italian capital.

He will stay at Lazio until the end of his career, a definitive sign of deep attachment. The club has made an important gesture by tying Ciro to Lazio until 2026.

We are talking about the strongest centre forward in Italy in recent years, he has done very well in numbers and has also won the Golden Shoe.

Moggi then discussed how Immobile didn’t join Napoli years ago because of Gianluca Lapadula.

It’s water under the bridge now.

The 32-year-old Immobile, who is contracted to Lazio until 2026, has made 31 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2546 minutes. In that time, he’s scored 24 goals and provided four assists, being a focal point in Maurizio Sarri’s squad.

The Italian striker joined the Biancocelesti back in the summer of 2016, arriving in a deal worth around €10m from Spanish side Sevilla. During his five and a half years in Rome, Immobile has scored 174 goals and provided 46 assists in 250 appearances across all competitions, becoming the club’s all-time top scorer.
