Lazio come into this Serie A clash against Cagliari looking for a win to restore some confidence following a tough few matches.

Team News

Danilo Cataldi and Manuel Lazzari are both unavailable for tomorrow evening’s match against the Rossoblu, dealing from muscle injuries. Both are expected to return at some point later this month.

Luiz Felipe, Adam Marusic, Mattia Zaccagni and Pedro are all at risk of being suspended should they pick up a yellow card in the match.

The Roman club have not picked up a victory in almost a month, with their last win being against Bologna on 12th February. Since then, they’ve lost to Porto once, drawn Udinese, drawn Porto and lost to Napoli.

Expected Starting Lineup

Francesco Acerbi is expected to make his first start in almost two months after returning from a hamstring injury, although there’s still a chance that Patric could get the nod over him.

Pedro’s starting spot is a little uncertain due to some physical concerns this week, so it would not be a surprise to see Felipe Anderson start in his place.

Below is Lazio’s expected starting lineup for their Serie A clash against Cagliari:

  • Lazio (4-3-3): Thomas Strakosha; Adam Marusic, Luiz Felipe, Francesco Acerbi, Stefan Radu; Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Lucas Leiva, Luis Alberto; Pedro, Ciro Immobile, Mattia Zaccagni.
