Emerson has made 24 appearances across all competitions so far this season for Lyon, for a total of 1963 minutes. In that time, he’s scored one goal and provided one assist, impressing both offensively and defensively.
Lazio have been looking for a new left back for a while now and losing out on Emerson would force them to focus on alternate targets.
