Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni has announced his latest squad list, containing Lazio youngster Luka Romero.
As seen in a post on the Seleccion Argentina Twitter page yesterday, the 17-year-old Biancocelesti forward has received his first ever call-up to the senior team, previously making some appearances at youth level with the Under-15 and Under-17 squads.
The 17-year-old Romero, who is contracted to Lazio until 2024, has made four first team appearances so far this season under coach Maurizio Sarri, for a total of 39 minutes. He has reportedly impressed a number of the Biancocelesti squad with his technical ability in training.
The Roman club picked up the Argentinian teenager last summer in a deal worth around €200,000 from Spanish side RCD Mallorca, securing the talented youngster for a low fee.
