As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 32-year-old Italian striker suffered a blow to the ribs during the victory in Sardinia on Saturday, giving the whole team some anxiety.

Fortunately for Immobile and Lazio, the medical tests revealed that he suffered no injury and the blow was fully absorbed within a few hours. The player is fine and will be able to return to squad training.
